W SHOW STABLES
W Show Stables is a Wellington, Florida-based equestrian training program specializing in hunters and equitation. Their experienced team prepares dedicated riders for success in the show ring, with a focus on developing top hunter, jumper, and equitation horses.
Tyler's professional career started as a riding and management position at HiHopes Farm, LLC under Steve Heinecke and the Oken family promptly after college. Working with some of the top hunters in the country, he discovered his niche in the hunters. Under the tutelage of world-class trainers & R Judges Steve Heinecke (1985 Maclay Champion) and Jeff Wirthman, Tyler gained a lifetime of
knowledge and insight in working with top show hunters.
In 2016, Tyler opened W Show Stables in Lexington, KY. His program offered top hunter, jumper & equitation training and showing, coupled with the highest quality horse care only a few miles from the Kentucky Horse Park. In 2018, Tyler won the RRP Thoroughbred in the Hunter division out of 70+ retrained racehorses. During that time he worked with a lot of horses and riders, developing his style of training for competitiveness in the show ring.
In an effort to learn even more about the top level of the sport, Tyler went to work for New Hope, LLC under the direction of David Belford & Christopher Payne. New Hope operates as one of the most successful horse businesses in the country, focused on importing and showing the very best horses in the hunter ring. During his time at New Hope, Tyler learned the process of operating and maintaining a winning system for both horse and rider.
In 2020, Tyler reopened W Show Stables and spent the last 3 years based out of Charlotte, VT, traveling to AA horse shows in the Northeast and Florida. While focusing on his personal training program, Tyler's students garnered a lot of success in the show ring during this time. It's his hope that by moving to Wellington, he can continue working to develop dedicated athletes who are looking to achieve high-level success in the show ring.
